The first of two back-to-back (almost) Birthday getaways. The first of which was a “sun and sand” break to Cape Verde. To be fair, the island of Sal doesn’t offer a lot to tourists wanting to explore – although we did go to see the lemon sharks, float in the salt basin and visit “The Blue Eye”. But the all inclusive resort was perfect for some simple relaxation and evening entertainment with ample activities for people wanting to be active during the day.
