My final trip of the year to Normandy, and I was a little sad as this meant I wouldn’t be visiting Honfleur again for a while. On the plus side, having a glass of wine whilst sitting around the picturesque harbour is probably one of the best places to be July. Shame I had to work really!
My usual Hertz branch must have remembered me raving about “The Kia” when I returned it last time so they offered me another one for this trip. It turned out to be the exact same car so we were happy to get re-acquainted.
Like before, a two week trip meant two round-trips as I had a colleague joining me for the first week before I returned on my own for the second. Solo work trips at least make it a little easier to explore and it was, again, a perfect week to do just that.
